Applications are now open for the Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship 2026! This is the most prestigious fully funded scholarship offered by the University of Luxembourg for high-achieving international students.
The scholarship is designed to attract outstanding students from both EU and Non-EU countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in the heart of Europe. Selected scholars receive significant financial support to cover their living and accommodation costs, making it easier to focus on academic excellence.
Scholarship Benefits (Fully Funded)
The Guillaume Dupaix Scholarship provides roughly €10,000 per academic year for up to two years. The support is distributed as follows:
- Stipend: A payment of approx. €5,100 per semester.
- Accommodation: Free or subsidized student housing in university residence halls (Rent covered directly).
- Tuition: University tuition fees are already very low (approx. €200/semester).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Guillaume Dupaix Scholarship, you must:
- International Student: Open to both EU and Non-EU citizens.
- Academic Excellence: Have an outstanding academic record in your Bachelor's degree.
- Full-Time Study: Apply for a 2-year Master’s program taught in Luxembourg.
- Status: You must not be a beneficiary of the Luxembourg State Financial Aid (MengStudien).

How to Apply
There is no separate initial application for the scholarship. You must follow this process:
- Step 1: Apply for a Master’s Degree at the University of Luxembourg via the admission portal.
- Step 2: Submit your admission application before the deadline.
- Step 3: The Programme Director will review your application. If your profile is excellent, you will be invited to apply for the scholarship via a separate email link.
- Step 4: Submit your scholarship motivation letter and recommendation letters upon invitation.
